How to Replace a Kia Sportage Replacement Key

The key in many Kia models comes with an entry system that is keyless into. The key functions like a remote control, and is exchangeable by a Kia dealer.

Key fobs can fail to function due to a number of reasons, such as an inactive battery, worn out buttons signal interference, or water damage. Here are some helpful tips to help you get your Kia sportage replacement key working for good.

How to replace a remote key or a smartkey?

The battery in your Kia's intelligent key will eventually require to be replaced, regardless of whether it's a remote key as well as a push-to start key or a normal metal key that is not equipped with an electronic transponder. You can have a standard keyfob or a Smart Key based upon the model of Kia Sportage. The difference between them is that the smart fob has an incredibly small key blade hidden within it, whereas the standard fob doesn't.
